High-altitude euphoria in the Dolomites

Uniquely wonderful

Next to Kronplatz, for example, the Wellschellener Alm invites you for a visit. On a hut tour, you will get to know the scenic beauties of our region, along with the culinary attractions. Under no circumstances should you miss the Fanes-Sennes-Prags Nature Park. The Pragser Wildsee is a unique natural gem, around which you can hike or bike to your heart’s content. Discover the Gadertal and the many highlights of the region. If you would rather go on easy family tours, you can scale many mountains around St. Vigil by cable car. But there are also many peaks that will demand more of you and which offer you a fantastic view of the Dolomites, such as Piz da Peres (2,507 m) across from Kronplatz.

Alpine hikes and leisurely cycling

For every taste

To become one with our Dolomite world, you don’t necessarily have to get up high: The Fanes, Sennes, and Fodara Vedla alpine meadows are true paradises where the freedom of movement is absolute. Or would you rather get around in your bike saddle? Most hiking tours around St. Vigil can also be experienced on a mountain bike. And if you are drawn even further into South Tyrol, the Pustertal cycle path presents itself, which leads further toward Lienz in East Tyrol. You can comfortably take the train on the way back.
